A summary of the findings as of July 24:
- Local snipers (a tactical team or teams) were located on the second floor of the AGC building in at least two different rooms.
- This side of the second floor has at least 3 rooms, 6 windows in all, 3 windows were open to the outside immediately before the shooting and the day after.
- At least 3 windows (1, 2 and 5 from the left) were documented sniper location.
- All 6 windows have a clear view onto the roof of the one-story building, where Crooks was seen and later found dead.
- 5 windows had a line of site on Trump, window 5 and 6 from the left had a line of site unobstructed by the closest tree or the red harvester next to the bleachers.
- The photos of the suspicious person (Crooks) were taken from above from the sniper position out of the far-left window of the second floor. Crooks was leaning on and then sitting on a small concrete wall below.
- Dozens of civilians were pointing to the shooter on the roof minutes before the shooting, calling officers, yelling ‘he has a gun’, ‘he is on the roof’ and so on. Some of them were under the open windows of the second-floor snipers.
- Witnesses who alerted police officers on ground level say they saw the snipers and their rifles in the windows at this time.
- As of July 24, the story was changed to say the snipers left their post on the second floor to go look for the suspicious person (Crooks). Needless to say, police snipers leaving their post is against any known security or police protocols.
- Shortly after the shooting, an officer on the scene next to Crooks’ body said a Beaver County sniper teem was on the second floor.
Open questions:
- Had the snipers indeed left their post?
- If not, why did they let Crooks crawl on the roof unhindered, right under their nose? Without calling to remove Trump from the stage?
- Could someone have fired from the second floor out of one of the 6 windows, particularly window 5 or 6 from the left?
This video reportedly showed Crooks wandering around in front of the 1 story building, wearing long pants.

“Snipers were stationed inside the building where a gunman climbed the roof and attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump, a source familiar with the investigation tells CNN.
The source said the local sniper team was hailed from the Butler County Emergency Services Unit.
The team, according to the source, was located on the second floor providing overwatch of the crowd at the rally.”
“According to law enforcement sources in multiple counties in western Pennsylvania, there were two sniper teams set up near the building where Thomas Crooks fired from Saturday evening.” (yahoo.com news)
Key witness Greg Smith exclusively told the Gateway Pundit:
“I saw him [the sniper] right before the shots happened, and I didn’t see him turn around and confront anyone. I never saw that and it didn’t happen. We asked all the people around us and in our group and we didn’t see that. I heard the story about the officer falling and hurting his foot, no one saw that. I’ve heard the stories, but I have no idea what they’re talking about.”
Explosively, he also relates that the snipers in the 2nd floor section of the AGR building were watching the rooftop shooter as the shots rang out – and did nothing!
“I was looking at the guys on the second story, my eyes were jumping three or four different places, I could see that they saw him and were looking at him and watching what he was doing, but they didn’t do anything.“
