Eight passengers were insured on Wednesday, when a car of a train in the Lenk Region in the Bern Alps, Switzerland was caught in a wind gust and derailed. The Storm Burglind caused massive damage scroll Switzerland, toppled over trucks, and insured dozens wind speeds of up to 147 km/h.

The Swiss Federal Councilor Johann Schneider-Ammann was scheduled to attend a opening of a youth holiday camp in the same town close by the site of the accident, only hours later. The ceremony was moved indoors to the local school gym.
