The comedy Idiocracy (2006) is a documentary. It is happening as we speak.

A meta-analysis by M. Woodley et al found that IQ declined by 13.3 points since Victorian times between 1889 and 2004 in England. These findings strongly indicate that “with respect to the g factor, Victorians were substantially cleverer than modern Western populations.” (Solar Behavior (2020) p.199). It is undetermined what exact proportion of this decline is attributed to the dysgenic trend, meaning the fact that since the late 1800s, the less productive and less wealthy – including the less intelligent – have more children than the well adapted. In recent decades, environmental factors (toxins, phthalates) may also be considered for the observed overall decline in intelligence.
