On June 20th, a large unit of the Zurich police raided a LEGAL Anti-Lockdown vigil on a public square and confiscated several boxes of Swiss constitutions which were ready for free distribution to the public. no reasons were given, and no specification on whether the Constitution is now designated as “hate- speech”. At the same time, a hundert meter away, a group of “Protesters” of Extinction Rebellion blocked the Quai-Bridge, the main traffic hub of Zurich, for three hours. The police locked down the surrounding streets and asked the rebels to leave, but did not arrest or disperse the about 30 “protesters” to reopen traffic; much the same lenience was used as with last weeks illegal Black Lives Matter protest, which blocked traffic for hours, tolerated and assisted by police.
